Commentary

This photo belongs to a series that refers to Haruki Murakami’s novel Dance Dance Dance. The image represents one of the six skeletons that the protagonist finds in an abandoned apartment. The title “One Week Later, Dick North Died” alludes to the unexpectedness of death and is also a direct quote from a passage where one of the characters in the novel dies directly after the protagonist finds these skeletons.
